High-order finite elements in space and time
T. Netz
In order to be able to come close to a verification process (i.e. to show how accurate finite element computations are) both high-order in space as well as high-order in time computations must be carried out. Since in time domain time-adaptive high-order DIRK-method are available, the extension to p-version finite elements has to be provided so that errors specified by the user can be guaranteed by the finite element computation. The applied constitutive models are based on phenomenological small and finite strain models.
