  • 1988-1993 studied mechanics at the University of Petrosani/Romania, graduated in the field of hydraulics;
  • 1993-1994 research assistant at the same university, Department of Modeling of Thermofluid Dynamic Processes;
  • 1994-1997 DAAD scholarship at the TU Clausthal;
  • 1995 Supplementary studies in mechanical engineering at the TU Clausthal;
  • Doctorate in 1997 on the subject of "State description and dynamics of environmentally relevant systems";
  • 1997 sponsorship award from the Association of Friends of Clausthal University of Technology;
  • 1997-1998 university assistant at the University of Petrosani;
  • 1999 scholarship holder of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation;
  • Since 2000 research assistant at the TU Clausthal;
  • 2000 "Dr. Meier Struckmann Science Award" of the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus;
  • In the summer semester 2000, lecturer in technology assessment at the Braunschweig/Wolfenbüttel University of Applied Sciences;
  • In the summer semester 2001, lecturer in the basics of environmental protection at the University of Lüneburg;
  • In the winter semester 2001/2002 lecturer for technology assessment at the University of Lüneburg.
  • Habilitation 2002 at the TU Clausthal for the subject "Systems Engineering";
  • Since 2003 teaches "Technology Assessment" as a private lecturer at the TU Clausthal.
